Newborn # 7...Ava

  I'm practicing photographing newborn's. In doing this I've discovered I really enjoy photographing them. There are so many workshops out there that I would love to take...but they are really expensive...so I've done some free sessions in order to get the practice. Newborn's are difficult, especially to get them in that sleepy pose. It's very tricky, but I always like a challenge. I captured Ava in 1 hour, which is quick for newborns. The average session is @ 2 hours. There is a lot of patience, peeing, poo, and crying, but in the end it all works out! Here is Ava! (I recently just photographed another Ava, if you're confused). Thank you for letting me photography her!

Calli 2012 Senior...photo shoot # 1

I met Calli and knew we would have a lot of fun with her senior photo shoot. She was up for anything and had some great ideas! We did 2 sessions. The 2nd session i'm even more in love with and can't wait to share. I had so much fun in both her sessions!  She was sooo easy to photography!

My baby Sister is having a BABY!!

So I did a couple sessions and haven't blogged them, mainly due to time.  Her baby is on my mind today though, so I thought it was time to blog.  I'm getting excited to meet this little man.  My sister and I are very close and I'm excited to see her as a mom, I know she'll be great!  She asked me to be there when he makes his grand entrance to this world.  I've been having dreams lately that 1 work wouldn't allow me to go because it was too busy and 2 she never told me she was in labor.  Both of which, I hope don't happen.  Here is her maternity session, that I had to talk her into.  Stay tuned to early September for his entrance on my blog! 

Lynn, Brett, Mya, and Alec

I meet up with Lynn and her 3 kiddos last Sunday.  I did 2 sessions together on the family farm. The previous blog post was Lynn's sister Ann.  So check her cute session too!  These kiddos were so up for pictures.  Very photogenic.  Thanks Lynn, Brett, Mya, and Alec!!
